Journey of Awakening (Part 2)

Journey of Awakening (Part 2)

Part 1 of my Awakening journey took me way back in time to places where a lot of the foundation for my spiritual path has been laid.

After leaving Yasodhara Ashram in 2000, life was never the same as before. Back then, all of us 29 participants of the Yoga Development Course had been disconnected from the world outside and isolated as a group for over 3 months in ways that are impossible to achieve these days, especially because back then we had no cell phones, laptops, or similar devices, and our daily schedule was filled with classes and other work from 7 am to 9 pm. This made the experience of the yoga course even more intensive and deep.

My recent journey continued with me visiting several metaphysical stores and bookstores in British Columbia, Canada, to introduce my book there. With the photos below I would like to share with you these places I went to. All these stores now know about my book and how to order it for you if you would like to obtain one.

Beside the bookstore at the Yasodhara Ashram in Kootenay Bay, BC, I introduced Awakening to Otter Books, 398 Baker Street, Nelson, BC (ask for Leo) and to Gaia Rising, 356 Baker Street, Nelson BC (ask for Jamie or Maeya).

From the area of the Kootenays, my trip then went to Victoria, BC, where I lived from 2003 to 2012. It was there that I encountered the work of Carl Johan Calleman about the meaning of the Mayan Calendar, the books of the Anastasia series, and much more. The picture below shows me in 2004 in Victoria, BC …

In Victoria, I introduced my book to Munro’s Books, 1108 Government Street, Victoria, BC; to the metaphysical store Inwards Market, 622 View Street, Victoria BC; to Bolen Books, # 111, 1644 Hillside Avenue, Hillside Centre, Victoria, BC; and to Books & Shenanigans347 Cook Street, Victoria, BC.

The time flew by during my trip to Canada, and on my way back to the airport in Vancouver I managed to visit, last but not least, one more bookstore in Sidney, BC, where I was able to present my book to Tanner’s Books, 2436 Beacon Avenue, Sidney, BC.

In addition to the stores and places I had been able to visit in person, I also took the opportunity to mail Awakening together with an extensive introduction of its contents and information about myself to three leading metaphysical bookstores in Canada:

In part 3 of the journey of Awakening, I am going to share some more pictures from the places that have been important in the creation and publication of Awakening and its German version Erwachen.
